Strength and conditioning (S&C) as defined by the UKSCA is the specialist area covering the physical preparation of individuals for performance in sport, whilst reducing the risk of injury.

Strength work focuses all forms of resistance training for physical development and injury prevention. Equally the conditioning element can include agility, endurance, speed and flexibility training.

Our equipment promotes use of primal movements, squats, lunges, pushing, pulling and pivoting as fundamentals to Gym training.

Whether your goal is to prepare and train for a specific event, to be able to climb up your stairs, or just keep fit our Gym facilities will provide.

Strength training should be used as an imperative part of injury rehabilitation, injury prevention, performance enhancement and even a weight loss program.

In addition to improving strength, clients will notice improved body awareness, reduced left-right asymmetries (through unilateral training) and a better appreciation of function.

A little known fact is your Dojo membership includes use of our Gym facility.

To avoid over crowding you can book a regular Gym slot (as per timetable).

Use the time before lessons, after classes or even along side.

Also anyone (inc Parents) can sign up for Gym Only Membership
