All student should now be booked in for our SKF Dojo Practice and Club Gradings.

Kickboxing Sporting Success

Along with our Club Gradings we have our Class Tournaments which is for the grass root development of our sport. The last couple of months has seen the highest level of success for student Tai Gordon winning the Junior WAKO World Championships in Italy. At time of writing instructor James is in Turkey and has achieved bronze at the WAKO Senior European Championship. Our sport has seen massive strides forward in recent times becoming recognised internationally as an Olympic Sport and in the last month it was announced we now have full Sport England recognition so the future is very bright for our athletes.

Festive Season

In a world of so much news of doom and gloom we have decided to start celebrating the festive season to help lift everyones spirits. Decorations are going up at our Dojo and we are getting things ready for a fun and enjoyable finale to the year.

Black Friday

We will be launching our new Spirit Dojo Brand with a Black Friday deal. Keep an eye out upstairs at our Dojo and online. We will keep you posted with lots of Xmas gift ideas.

Please Note

This past month our Dojo completed our Safe Guarding in Martial Arts annual check. All our policies and requirements are up to date.

Along with safe guarding we also supported Anti Bully week speaking to students at lessons bringing awareness of this important subject.

We also support the Anti Smack campaign which this year saw Wales pass as law and hope to see England and Scotland follow next year.

Signing Off & News Letter Tip

We are certainly living in challenging times, with the gloomy news of on going war in Ukraine and troubled economics it really is a weight on us all. Throw in the dark nights and constant rain it can really dampen spirits.

Remember our Dojo provides much more than feel good training and winning awards. We are a family community where at our Dojo we can loose ourselves from the worries of the world in a positive environment and develop life long skills, friendships and become the best versions of ourselves.

So this newsletter tip is simply – get out your front door and come to our Dojo.
